3 Weeks to brand your blog: Will you join the journey?

free to use image

First impression lasts. Or so have I thought? Is it really necessary to spend ample time planning before we eventually blog to make sure our online presence really rocks? I haven’t thought much about it way back my early days in blogging, but I soon realized how important self branding really is (for my blog and for myself as a whole). How about you? Would you like to brand your blog, too? Whatever it is that you believe in, just try to open up your mind and consider spending a day or more in mapping out your blog plan.

Week 1: Motivate yourself to know thy self.

Oftentimes, it takes so much time before we finally determine what we want to do in life. True enough it does not just take one night and voila, we already have it going and we’ll end up where we perfectly fit. Just like Napoleon Hill who incurred so much lessons and finally found himself writing motivational books, for sure, we’ve got a place in this world full of buzz.

However, in cyberspace, to make your mark, just as search engines patrol your posts (just as spiders crawl) you’d also need to determine what you would like to post about. In doing this, spend your first day knowing yourself a bit further. Know what you really want to attain. Is it to spread the word about leadership just as John Maxwell did? Is it about the best cars ever just as Henry Ford did? It’s your call. Besides you are captain of your ship. Hence, you play your own cards here.

To start with, here are some energizing activities you can perform:

·         Create a dream board.  Envision your long-time dream coming true. Whatever it is, claim it in your heart that no one can take it away from you. Not being selfish, this is simply to create that lasting mark in your mind that you can really attain your aim.

·         Research. Creating your blog plan also entails knowing who to emulate. If there was already someone who left a mark in the field you are eying, try to learn about their strategies. From there, you’ll gather hints on how they have made it thus far. Likewise, it should leave you a thought that “if they made it, I can too!”

·         Chant your dream out. Autosuggestion, the mental process of affirming yourself the success you believe you’d acquire, is a very powerful technique to help you start your blog branding journey. Try saying or telling your mind what you want to accomplish and live by that idea each day. In turn, you’ll realize its power as you begin to make each day count – all to accomplish that heartfelt dream you claimed so deeply.

3 Foolproof Ways to Keep Your Heart Fired up to Write about Web Content

As I look for an inspiration to write, most especially about web content, I try thinking about what readers would often ask about the web content writing niche. With my hands tired of clicking the mouse last night, ideas kept on buzzing through my ears (yet my hands have been unable to type just one key). Yet with my desire to keep the fire burning, I just stood still with my word (which is to produce content for my blog consistently). Thus, here are nine of my most recommended tips for the web content writer who wants to step a notch off the writer’s block.

1.   Fly (Just like Peter Pan).

Flying won’t hurt. Just try. Keep your mind healthy by thinking of happy thoughts. When was the last time you smiled? Can you remember? What can you consider as the happiest moment in your life? Did someone compliment you today? Most importantly, do you still have your definite purpose intact with you? That, I believe, is one thing to be happy about.

2.    List, list, list.

I guess this tip is best for those who are obsessed partly with organizing, but it works (at least for me and a friend initialed as J.A.). Try searching some books about creating checklists and you’ll see how this simple step of listing does work! As you see, it’s how the process of autosuggestion that’s taking over the mind during such system. Thus, whatever you envision of yourself through listing, you’ll most likely achieve (thanks to Sir Napoleon Hill’s works that I’ve learned about this).

3.   Invest on web content writing books.

Finally, to gear yourself towards writing web content further, it greatly helps if you also try to locate powerful reads to enhance your skills. Learn from those who have made it far in this niche. Did they practice that habit of polishing writing skills by reading more? Why not do this, too, my friend? You might just learn that most sought after technique to lure a thousand blog followers.

My Pisobid Experience: Can I Finally Win My Dream Ipad 2 for Less than Php 200.00?

There was a rush inside me as I tried bidding for the first time through Pisobid.com’s online auction. There was this kind of excitement that flowed right through me – seeing how I tried to win that Canon DSLR camera. I also aimed to win the 250 bid pack but my eyes were set upon the camera. Alas, the bidding for the bid pack ended and I did not manage to win any.

Out of the experience, there was one thing I’ve learned… observe first and strategize from there! A lot of other hopefuls have also been eying on the prizes that timing would indeed have to play a very good part when bidding.

I’ve seen videos telling future bidders about the strategies and all. There may be that midnight madness going on for bidders. But amidst all these, could there be a single way to win such bid, and it could be the perseverance, right timing, and avoidance of greediness (as much as possible, try to avoid being hypnotized when staring at the screen). Yes, I’ve felt hypnotized by this craze and from there, have been trying to avoid (at all cost) never to press the ‘bid’ button when there are still lots of other hopefuls out there.

From here, I leave you with a hopeful note that perhaps you could be the next successful bidder to avail of today’s most prized bid: a Sony Bravia 32" LCD TV.

Good luck!
